We are in the process of preserving USFL video. More than three-and-a-half decades have passed since the USFL last played football, and video of its games is in more danger every day of being lost or destroyed. If you have any video, including partial or complete games, coaches film, highlights, news footage, coaches shows or anything else, please contact us.

Birmingham Stallions(10-4)(-1) at Houston Gamblers(9-5)
Attendance: 13,202, TV: ESPN
HOUSTON(AP) - The Birmingham Stallions didn't have their two top offensive
weapons in the game so they relied on a razzle-dazzle play to get them started and
kicking of Danny Miller and running of quarterback Cliff Stoudt to finish up. The
combined result was a 29-27 United States Football League victory over the Houston
Gamblers Monday night that vaulted the Stallions into the league playoffs. Birmingham
played the game without leading rusher Joe Cribbs and top receiver Jim Smith but Paul
Ott Carruth subbed for Cribbs and Miller kicked field goals of 47,43 and 20 yards to insure the victory. The Gamblers were missing quarterback Jim Kelly, out at least three more weeks with a torn ligament in his right knee.
