BIRMINGHAM(AP) - Cliff Stoudt and Jim Smith teamed for three touchdowns Monday night to lead the Birmingham Stallions to a 41-17 rout of the USFL's struggling Orlando Renegades. Stoudt, completing 15 of 21 passes for 213 yards, hit Smith with touchdown strikes of 13 and seven yards. He also tossed the wide receiver a lateral, which Smith carried 22 yards into the end zone. The Stallions also scored on two Danny Miller field goals, a 50-yard bomb from Stoudt to Joey Jones and a 6-yard run by Paul Ott Carruth to boost their record to 10-4 and take first place in the Eastern Conference.
