EAST RUTHERFORD,N.J -Doug Flutie scored on a 5-yard quarterback run with 1:39 to play to cap an 81-yard drive as the New Jersey Generals edged the Baltimore Stars 10-3 Sunday.

Herschel Walker had his sixth straight 100-yard rushing game as the Generals raised their record to 8-4 this season and avenged an earlier loss to Baltimore.

Flutie keyed the Generals game-winning drive by hitting tight end Sam Bowers on a 44-yard pass to advance the ball to the four. After Walker was thrown for a yard loss, Flutie went in for the score.
