JACKSONVILLE,FL - Tampa Bay running back Gary Anderson ran for one touchdown and passed for another to give the Bandits a 21-10 win over Jacksonville.
Jacksonville quarterback Brian Sipe. who hadn't played since suffering a shoulder separation in the opening game on Feb. 24., entered the game in the third quarter. He hit 10-of-12 passes for 110 yards, but the Bulls didn't score under his leadership.
Midway through the opening quarter, Anderson scored on a 5-yard sweep around the left side.
In the second quarter, with a fourth-and-one from the eight, quarterback John Reaves pitched to Anderson, who passed to tight end Marvin Harvey for the touchdown.
The versatile Anderson rushed 13 times for 55 yards.
