OAKLAND, Calif. (UPI) - Bobby Hebert threw two touchdown passes Saturday night, guiding the Oakland Invaders to a 27-11 victory over the Arizona Outlaws.

The Invaders improved to 6-3-1 while the Outlaws fell to 4-6.

Hebert connected on touchdown passes of 14 yards to Derek Holloway and 2 yards to Albert Bentley as he completed 18-of-29 attempts for 202 yards. Oakland also scored on a l-yard run by Eric Jordan and field goals of 25 and 51 yards by Nojo Bojovic.

Arizona scored on a 40-yard touchdown pass from Doug Williams to Reggie Brown, a 41-yard Luis Zendejas field goal and Johnny Lewis' tackle of John Williams in the end zone for a safety.

Doug Williams completed 19-of-45 passes for 345 yards, but was intercepted twice. Arizona's Greg Anderson caught four for 145 yards.

The Invaders gained 170 yards on the ground with Bentley amassing 92 on 14 carries and John Williams 71 on 12 carries.

Oakland took a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter when Hebert hit Holloway from 14 yards out.

The Outlaws closed to 7-6 with 2:51 left in the quarter. Doug Williams hit Reggie Brown with a swing pass and Brown completed a 40-yard pass and run. However, Zendejas missed the conversion.

Jordan capped a 10-play, 66-yard drive with a l-yard plunge to give the Invaders a 14-6 advantage early in the second quarter.

Zendejas connected on a 41-yard field goal before the Invaders' Novo Bojovic countered with a 25-yarder with no time left in the half to give the Invaders a 17-9 advantage.

Hebert hit Bentley with a 22-yard scoring strike in the third quarter and Bojovic nailed a 51-yard field goal early in the fourth to give the Invaders a 27-9 lead.

The Outlaws scored their only points in the second half when Lewis tackled John Williams.
