ORLANDO,FL(AP) - Reserve quarterback Fred Besana threw for three touchdowns to spark the Oakland Invaders to a 21-7 victory over the Orlando Renegades.

Besana completed 14 of 19 passes for 193 yards. He hit Derek Holloway with a 63-yard scoring pass on his first toss and then helped the Invaders wrap up the victory with a 3-yard scoring flip to Tom Newton in the third period and a 15-yarder to Anthony Carter in the last quarter.

Oakland won its third straight game to improve to 7-3-1. The host Renegades slipped to 2-9 with their third straight loss.
