OAKLAND (AP) -- The Oakland Invaders took advantage of five San Antonio turnovers in the first half to grab a 20-0 lead, then withstood a furious Gunslingers' comeback for a 27-20 victory Monday night in a United States Football League game.

The Invaders, 5-3-1, converted two fumbles by Gunslingers' quarterback Rick Neuheisel into touchdowns in the first quarter, while Oakland place kicker Novo Bojovic booted field goals of 27 and 52 yards to give the Invaders their halftime lead.
