We are in the process of preserving USFL video. More than three-and-a-half decades have passed since the USFL last played football, and video of its games is in more danger every day of being lost or destroyed. If you have any video, including partial or complete games, coaches film, highlights, news footage, coaches shows or anything else, please contact us.

Houston 15 at Memphis 17
1985 Week 12 - Sunday, May 12, 1985
Houston Gamblers(8-3)(-4.5) at Memphis Showboats(6-5)
Attendance: 27,325, TV: ABC
MEMPHIS, TN - Quarterback Mike Kelley ran for two first-half touchdowns and Alan Duncan added a 27-yard field goal as Memphis collected a 17-15 victory over Houston.
The Gamblers, now 8-4. were threatening even as time ran out at the Liberty Bowl. Houston managed to move the ball down to the Memphis 30 in less than two minutes.
The Memphis defense, as it had done all afternoon, knocked down two of Houston quarterback Jim Kelly's passes to slow the drive and use up valuable seconds.
Kelly connected on his final pass of the game to running back Todd Fowler, but he picked up only four yards on the play and that left the Gamblers two points short of a victory.
