TEMPE,AZ - Denver Iinebacker Mike McKibben returned a fourth quarter interception 45 yards for a touchdown to break 28-28 tie and give the Gold a 42-28 victory over Arizona.

McKibben's score came just 4:18 after Arizona linebacker Vic Koenning's club-record 77-yard interception return tied the score at 28-28.

Bill Johnson, who finished with 148 yards on 20 carries, closed out Denver's scoring with a 1-yard run with 4:50 remaining as the Gold improved their record to 8-4.
