PITTSBURGH -- William Miller rushed for 115 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead the Pittsburgh Maulers to a 15-6 victory over the Washington Federals before 15,153 fans.
Making his second straight start In place of Injured Hejsman Trophy winner Mike Rozier, Miller scored his touchdowns on a 12-yard run In the third quarter and on a 5-yard pass from Tom Rozantz In the fourth.
The Maulers' victory left the Federals with the worst record In the league at 2-12.
