LOS ANGELES (AP) - The rookie Bobby Hebert completed 16 of 25 passes for 247 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Panthers.

Ramsey completed 23 of 35 passes for two touchdowns. Michigan dominated the second half with three touchdowns to break open the game, which the Panthers had led, 21-17, at the half.
