Attendance: 35,623, TV: ABC

TAMPA(FL) - Jimmy Jordan passed for 223 yards and four touchdowns and Gary Anderson had his first 100-yard rushing performance as a pro Sunday, leading the Tampa Bay Bandits to a 45-17 United States Football League rout of the Birmingham Stallions.

Jordan, making his first start in a month, completed 16 of 31 passes before giving way to Mike Kelley early in the fourth quarter. He teamed with Danny Buggs on two of his scoring aerials and also whipped touchdown passes of 29 and 25 yards to Eric Truvillion and Willie Gillespie, respectively.

Tampa Bay also got 146 yards and a touchdown from Anderson, a No.1 draft choice of the National Football League's San Diego Chargers who was playing in his fourth USFL game.

The victory before a Tampa Stadium crowd of 35,623 - about 4,000 below Tampa Bay's season average - improved the Bandits' record to 10-4.
