BIRMINGHAM(AP) - Bob Lane passed for three touchdowns and set up two others as the Birmingham Stallions defeated the Los Angeles Express 35-20 in a United States Football League game last night.
Lane, Birmingham's top quarterback with Reggie Collier out for the season with a knee injury, connected for 27 yards to Earl Gant, 22 to Jim Smith and 16 to Lonnie Johnson for scores.
