COLLEGE PARK,MD (AP)- Chuck Fusina threw three touchdowns passes, two to backup split end James Caver, helped the Baltimore Stars' gain a playoff spot with a 41-10 rout of the Orlando Renegades.

With 11,000 no-shows, a record-low crowd of 6,983 watched in the rain at Byrd Stadium as Baltimore improved to 9-7-1. A loss by Jacksonville to Memphis clinched a third straight playoff spot for the Stars. Orlando fed to 4-13.

Fusina completed 19 of 26 passes for 203 yards before yielding to backup Tim Riordan in the fourth quarter. His 3 touchdown passes tied his high for the season.

The Stars sacked Renegades quarterback Reggie Collier four times for 40 yards in losses, increasing their league-leading sack total to 59.
