We are in the process of preserving USFL video. More than three-and-a-half decades have passed since the USFL last played football, and video of its games is in more danger every day of being lost or destroyed. New Orleans 0 at Philadelphia 35

1984 Week 10 - Friday, April 27, 1984
New Orleans Breakers(7-2) at Philadelphia Stars(8-1)(-7)
Attendance: 34,011

PHILADELPHIA(UPI) - Philadelphia quarterback Chuck Fusina knows that football is a team game and that you can't accomplish anything without your teammates.

Fusina tied a USFL record with five touchdowns Fnday night and the Philadelphia Stars won their seventh consecutive game, a 35-0 romp over the New Orleans Breakers.

But the former Penn State signal-caller gave his teammates a lot of credit in the performance. "To win it takes good players alongside you and they give us plenty of protection," Fusina said. "My men were open and we had good field position."

Fusina completed 20-of-26 passes for 250 yards and the five TDs, two to David Riley, two to Willie Collier and one to Steve Folsom, as the 9-1 Stars scored all their points in the first three periods.

The victory keeps Philadelphia in first place in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.
