BIRMINGHAM, AL (AP) - Cliff Stoudt passed for 247 yards and two touchdowns for Birmingham while the Stallions sacked quarterback Walter Lewis 10 times for 68 yards as Birmingham downed the Memphis Showboats 34-19.

Linebacker Bill Roe had three of the sacks as Birmingham tied with Memphis and Tampa Bay with 3-1 records.
