The Birmingham Stallions intercepted four passes and went on to beat the Boston Breakers, 31-19, tonight in a United States Football League game.
The Stallions (8-7) had interceptions by Michael Thomas, Mel Land, Jimmy Walker and Herb Spencer. Birmingham had the ball for 39 of the 60 minutes in the game.
The quarterback Bob Lane ran for one touchdown and threw to Greg Anderson for another. The Stallions also scored on two runs by Lonnie Johnson.
