Washington,DC(AP) - The Washington Federals took a 14-7 first-half lead and looked like they might win their second game in 12 starts.

But Boston's John Walton, who completed 27 of 46 for 326 yards, dominated the second half, setting up two field goals, then throwing a 39-yard touchdown pass to Charlie Smith with 7:07 to play for the Breakers, who downed Washington 21-14.
