E. RUTHERFORD, NJ (AP) - In overtime, backup quarterback Tim Koegel, who replaced Greg Landry after Landry suffered a broken ankle, scored the winner on a fake field goal, sweeping left for five yards and giving the Chicago Blitz a 19-13 win over New Jersey.

Chicago's win, which moved the Blitz to 8-4, was its second overtime victory over New Jersey this season.

The Generals,now 3-9, led 7-0 at the half, but fell behind, 10-7, in the fourth quarter on Frank Corral's 20-yard field goal. Herschel Walker's 25-yard touchdown run put New Jersey ahead, but Dave Jacobs missed the extra point kick. Corral then tied it on a 35-yarder with 2:58 left after the Blitz recovered a fumble by Walker, who gained 141 yards on the day.
