LOS ANGELES (AP) - Craig Penrose's 6-yard touchdown pass to Elmer Bailey with 5:50 left broke a 10-10 tie, and Darryl Hemphill returned an interception 42 yards for a touchdown just 1:11 later to break the game open for Denver as the Gold rolled to a 27-10 victory over the Los Angeles Express.
The crowd in the Coliseum was 32,082.
